Privacy Policy

Last updated · July 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Drone Ready (“Drone Ready,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a service operated by Netix Solutions, collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use our website, training platform, companion iOS and Android applications, text-message programs, and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.

This document is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal advice. It should be reviewed and adapted by qualified counsel for your jurisdiction before you rely on it.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account and profile details such as your name, email address, phone number, and password;
  • Purchase information (billing details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, not stored by us);
  • Training activity such as lesson progress, practice-exam results, and readiness scores;
  • Information you submit through forms — including contact, agency, newsletter/blog subscription, and SMS opt-in forms; and
  • Any other information you choose to provide, such as messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we and our providers may automatically collect device and usage information — such as IP address, device and browser type, app version, pages and features used, and interactions — using cookies and similar technologies.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from service providers such as payment, analytics, and messaging partners, and from agency administrators who add members to a team account.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services and our mobile apps;
  • process purchases and deliver access, progress tracking, and readiness scoring;
  • communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support;
  • market and promote additional products, services, offers, and updates to you by email, phone, and text message (see Section 4);
  • personalize content, measure performance, and conduct analytics and research;
  • protect the security and integrity of the Services and prevent fraud and abuse; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. Marketing communications

When you become a customer, subscribe to our blog or newsletter, submit a form, or otherwise provide your contact information, you agree that we may use your email address and phone number to send you marketing about additional products, services, and offers, in addition to service and transactional messages. You can opt out of marketing at any time — see “Your choices and rights” below. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you non-promotional messages about your account or purchases.

4. Text messaging (SMS)

We operate an SMS program. You can opt in by texting our number, by texting a keyword we provide, or by submitting an online form that indicates your consent. By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and informational texts at the number you provide.

Managing text messages

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or update your profile settings. We will send one confirmation and then stop marketing texts.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
  • Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.
  • We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information:

  • with service providers who help us operate the Services (for example, hosting, payment processing, email and SMS delivery, and analytics), under contracts that limit their use of your information;
  • within an agency or team account, where relevant training data is available to your administrators;
  • to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect our rights, users, and the public; and
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as a business asset.

7. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

How to opt out

You can stop marketing at any time by (1) updating your profile settings, (2) using the unsubscribe link in our emails, or (3) replying STOP to any text message.

You may access and update your account information at any time. You may request deletion of your account, subject to information we must retain by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as the right to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

9. Mobile applications

Our companion iOS and Android apps may collect the information described in this Policy and, with your permission, certain device data or permissions needed for app features. Your use of the apps is also subject to the applicable app store’s terms and privacy practices.

10. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. U.S.-based service

The Services are operated in the United States and intended for U.S. users. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you consent to processing your information in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
