Pass Guarantee

Last updated · July 19, 2026

We built Drone Ready to get you through the FAA Part 107 Aeronautical Knowledge Test. If you complete the course, reach “Exam Ready” on our practice exams, sit the test, and still don't pass on your first attempt, you can request a full refund of your course purchase from inside your account. The steps below simply make sure the guarantee is for students who genuinely did the work.

In short

Finish the course, reach Exam Ready, and sit the FAA Part 107 within 60 days of purchase. Don't pass on your first try? Sign in, open your account, and submit a refund request with a copy of your score report. After a 30-day review, if your claim is approved you choose: a full refund of your course price, or keep your account and keep studying.

This document is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal advice. It should be reviewed and adapted by qualified counsel for your jurisdiction before you rely on it.

1. Who's eligible

To qualify for a refund under this guarantee, all of the following must be true:

  • You bought the individual Part 107 Course directly from Drone Ready (a paid purchase). Free accounts, promotional or comped access, and agency- or team-licensed seats are not eligible.
  • Before sitting the FAA exam, you completed the entire course — every module and lesson.
  • Before sitting the FAA exam, you reached an “Exam Ready” readiness score on our full-length practice exams.
  • You took the FAA Part 107 knowledge test in person at an FAA-approved (PSI) testing center within 60 days of your course purchase.
  • You did not pass on that first attempt.

2. How to request a refund

Everything happens in your account — there's no form to email:

  • Sign in to your Drone Ready account and open the Pass Guarantee section on your Account page.
  • Enter your full legal name (as used on your FAA test) and your test date.
  • Upload proof of your result— a copy of your official FAA/PSI score report showing the failing result. Proof is required; we can't review a claim without it.
  • Confirm you meet the conditions above and submit. You'll get an email confirming we received your request.

3. Review and decision

When you submit, a 30-day review periodbegins. During it, our team reviews your claim — which includes confirming that you do not appear in the FAA's public registry of certificated remote pilots. That registry check is performed by our teamas one part of our review; it is a signal we consider, not an automated verdict, and the public registry can lag an actual test result. We'll email you our decision. We may contact you if we need anything else to review the claim.

Our decision is final

Drone Ready reviews each claim in good faith and decides whether it qualifies. Our determination on a claim is final.

4. If your claim is approved

Once approved, the choice is yours:

  • Take the refund — we refund your course purchase price to your original payment method. Once the refund is issued, your paid course access ends.
  • Keep your account— decline the refund and keep full access to continue studying and retake the FAA test when you're ready.

5. The details

  • The guarantee refunds your course purchase price only. It does not cover the FAA test fee, travel, or any other costs.
  • One refund request per person. The guarantee applies to a single course purchase and a single first-attempt failure, and a decision on it is final.
  • Proof of the failing result is required to submit a request.
  • Once a refund is issued, access to the paid course ends.
  • The guarantee covers the FAA Part 107 knowledge test only, and applies only to a test attempt made after your purchase.
  • We may update these terms; the version in effect on your purchase date is the one that applies to you.

6. Relationship to our Refund Policy

Course purchases are otherwise final and non-refundable. This Pass Guarantee is a specific, limited exception to that policy. For everything else, see our Refund Policy.
